Venora Ltd is a Portuguese technology company building AI for hiring. We work on one problem: recruitment decisions are made on more information than any team can read, and the tools that promise to help rarely explain themselves. We build software that does the reading and shows its reasoning, so the people responsible for the hire stay responsible for the hire.

Venora Match is our first product: AI talent matching for hiring teams, with the reasoning behind every match on screen. It has its own website, its own roadmap and its own customers.

Explainable models rather than opaque scores, a platform we can host under our own control, and a language model specialised in recruitment on the way. Engineering carried over from AvantIT.

Venora Ltd is a technology company based in Matosinhos, Portugal, that builds artificial intelligence for recruitment. It trades as Venora Ltd and is registered as ARONEV, Unipessoal Lda. It was founded in 2026 as a spin-off of AvantIT, an IT consultancy based in the same city.
What does Venora Ltd do?
We design, build and operate recruitment technology. Our work covers the stage of hiring that is most expensive to do by hand — reading applications and deciding who to talk to — and extends towards the rest of the hiring journey. We sell software; we are not a recruitment agency and we do not place candidates.
Where is Venora Ltd based?
Our office is in Matosinhos, in the Porto metropolitan area of Portugal. We build for the European market and work in English and Portuguese.
What is Venora Match?
Venora Match is the product we build: an AI platform that matches candidates to open roles and explains each match to the recruiter. It is sold and documented separately, on its own website.
