About Venora Ltd

Venora Ltd was founded in 2026 in Matosinhos, Portugal, as a spin-off of AvantIT. The four founders had spent years delivering technology inside other companies and kept meeting the same scene from the inside: an open role, an inbox filling with applications, and one person trying to read them all in the gaps between everything else. We started the company to build the tool that scene needs.

Principle 01

Humans decide

Our software analyses, ranks and explains; a person decides. That is a design constraint we accepted before it was a legal one — under the EU AI Act, recruitment systems are high-risk and human oversight is required rather than optional.

Show the reasoning

A score with no explanation is not a decision aid, it is an instruction. Everything we build states why it reached a conclusion, in language a recruiter can disagree with and correct.

Build in the open, in stages

We ship in public, with pilot customers shaping what comes next, and we say what is live today versus what is planned. The roadmap on this page is the same one we work from.
